Job summary

J&O Plastics Inc. in Rittman, Ohio is seeking a Material Handler to move raw materials and finished goods through the production process, reporting to the Production Manager.

You will operate a forklift, maintain shipping area cleanliness, and assist with various tasks to support production. Overtime is required, and physical tasks include lifting up to 50 pounds and working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience in a warehouse or factory setting as a Material Handler.
• Ability to operate a forklift and move finished goods.
• Willingness to work overtime; overtime is a condition of employment.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and bending/kneeling as needed.

Responsibilities

• Move finished skids from the Quality Inspection area to the Shipping staging area. From there the palletized products will be loaded onto tractor trailers.
• Maintain overall general cleanliness and organization of the shipping area.
• Provide general assistance where needed.
• Working overtime when necessary. Overtime is a condition of employment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
