Job summary

J&O Plastics in Ohio is seeking a Production Material Handler to move finished goods and raw materials through the production process, supporting the shipping floor and keeping areas clean and organized.

The role requires forklift operation, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, reliable punctuality, and strong communication with teammates and management. Overtime is a condition of employment, and cross-training to assist multiple departments is encouraged.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of warehouse or factory experience as Material Handler.
• Must be able to operate a forklift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Overtime required; flexibility to work as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of shipping area.

Responsibilities

• Move finished skids from Quality Inspection to Shipping staging areas.
• Load palletized products onto tractor trailers.
• Maintain shipping area cleanliness and organization.
• Provide general assistance where needed.
• Overtime as a condition of employment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Reporting to the Production Manager our Material Handlers are responsible for the movement of all components of finished goods from the production floor. Our Production Material Handlers move our raw goods and unfinished product through the production process.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Moving finished skids from the Quality Inspection area to the Shipping staging area. From there the palletized products will be loaded onto tractor trailers.
• Maintain overall general cleanliness and organization of the shipping area.
• Provide general assistance where needed.
• Working overtime when necessary. Overtime is a condition of employment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
