Job summary

VSE is seeking a full-time driver in Bridgeport, WV. You will inspect trucks/trailers daily, operate forklifts, and ensure safe, compliant deliveries and pickups, following DOT and OSHA rules.

You will document deliveries, maintain logs, and coordinate with ULD Production Manager and other divisions to complete all routes on time. A valid license and ability to obtain SIDA access are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years of driving/relevant work experience.
• Valid Driver License with a clean driving record.
• Must pass a DOT Physical.
• Ability to obtain airport (SIDA) security access.
• Accurate data entry to log deliveries and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Inspect Truck and Trailer daily and report findings.
• Inspect straps and ratchets for serviceability.
• Operate Forklift to load and unload equipment.
• Drive according to federal/local regulations.
• Operate vehicle inside customer facilities including SIDA area.
• Document pickups/deliveries in logs for ULD Production Manager.
• Maintain vehicle fuel, DEF, and oil levels.
• Communicate with divisions to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
• Transport packages and parts to correct locations.
