Job summary

California Closets in Tolleson, AZ is seeking a Material Handler to move material throughout the plant. Pay rate is $22.82–$26.00 per hour and schedule is 5:00AM–1:00PM with paid lunch.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading from trucks, stocking, maintaining stock levels, and completing transfer paperwork. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, be able to operate a forklift, read measurements, work in a team, and adhere to PPE and attendance policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to work in all production areas and perform relief duties.
• Teamwork and ability to follow directions in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read and interpret basic measurements and use a tape measure.
• Able to read paperwork and labels; maintain PPE compliance.
• Able to quickly learn production equipment and operate a forklift.
• Adherence to attendance policy; punctuality is essential.

Responsibilities

• Move material between positions and locations throughout the plant.
• Load/off-load product from tables, rolling racks, trucks or crates.
• Ensure items are stocked and put away within 24 hours after receiving.
• Complete transfer sheets and related paperwork for inventory control.
• Maintain bin accuracy and perform cycle counts as needed.
• Load/unload trucks and drive forklift to move inventory.
• Communicate material issues with the line lead and team.
• Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies to supervisors.
