Job summary

Techmer PM, LLC in Compton, CA is seeking a Material Handler for allocations to move materials within a warehouse using hand trucks, forklifts, conveyors and other equipment.

The ad notes 2nd shift hours (4 a.m.–2:30 p.m., Mon–Thu) and a starting salary of $20.00 per hour DOE. A High School Diploma/GED is required; ability to lift 55 lbs frequently and forklift certification is expected or required.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification is desirable or required.
• Commitment to safety policies and housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety and company policies established.
• Maintain housekeeping and 6S in warehouse.
• Timely and accurate picking of materials to production or delivery staging.
• Process returned materials accurately and within 24 hours.
• Familiar with transactions to move material between locations and teams (operations, lab, warehouse).
• Adhere to First In, First Out (FIFO) where no exceptions exist.
• Record all material movements in D365 and scheduling sheets.
• Communicate in a timely, clear and professional manner; escalate issues as needed.
• Perform cycle count activities as directed.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
