Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid forklift license/certification and 1 year of recent experience required.
• Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse/manufacturing environment preferred.
• Basic computer skills; Excel and Word experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials efficiently and safely.
• Verify component labeling, quantities, and documentation for accuracy.
• Complete outgoing shipping documentation and system transactions accurately.
• Maintain receiving records and follow all receiving and material handling procedures.
• Package customer orders according to OEM and departmental requirements, preparing shipments for domestic and out-of-town destinations.

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated Material Handler / Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Material Handler / Forklift Operator, you will be part of the Americas Operations department supporting production and logistics teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Plymouth, MI

Pay Range: $20.00 - $26.50

Shift: 1st Shift
