Base pay range

$17.00/hr - $20.00/hr

Summary

The purpose of the material handler role is to ensure inventory accuracy throughout the warehouse by following dedicated processes. They will move inventory physically and systematically throughout the building. This role will be responsible for parts flow throughout the production area. Must pass drug screen and background check prior to employment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, inspect, and put away incoming freight
• Put away materials using pallet jack, wave lift, or forklift
• Pick materials needed for production, including traveling to our annex warehouse via box truck
• Picking parts from bins needed for orders and production
• Processing FedEx/UPS shipping of products to customers
• Maintain accurate inventory levels by performing regular cycle counts and location audits
• Apply warehouse location labels
• Manage trash and recycling throughout the building
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned based on business needs

Hours of Operation

Monday-Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm, with overtime as needed

Qualifications

• Forklift experience
• At least 1 year of material handling experience
• Ability to lift, climb, stand, walk, turn, and pivot for the duration of the shift
• Ability to lift, lower, push, and pull up to 50 lbs without assistance
• Driving a box truck between beMatrix facilities is a plus
• Proven knowledge of warehouse and production procedures
• Ability to work with all levels of staff
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Operate with honesty, integrity, teamwork, and respect, aligning with beMatrix’s values
