Job summary

WestRock Company is seeking a Material Handler responsible for loading and unloading trucks, warehousing product and materials, and supplying production lines with requested items. The position operates on a schedule from 2 PM to 10:30 PM, with required overtime and weekends.

Successful candidates will need a High School Diploma or equivalent and should communicate effectively. Responsibilities also include verifying counts, completing paperwork, and maintaining cleanliness in the warehouse

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively communicate with management and team members.
• General fluency in English required, verbal and written.
• Ability to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely, moving materials throughout the facility.
• Load and unload trucks; warehouse products and materials.
• Complete paperwork associated with the movement of product and materials.
• Perform regular inventory and cycle counts.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of equipment and area.
