You will operate material handling equipment, perform inspections, maintain inventories, and help ensure accuracy and safety. The job requires lifting up to 55 lbs, reliability, and forklift certification or the ability to obtain it. Salary is $17.50 per hour with benefits.

Job description

WSI is currently seeking Material Handlers/Forklift Operators for a new operation in Lancaster, TX.

• Monday to Friday (8:00am - 4:30pm)
• Overtime as required.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operates material handling equipment as required to receive, store, process orders, and ship material.
• Performs receiving and shipping inspections and identifies all incoming and outgoing material shipments to determine: a) quantity is as ordered b) no damage is apparent, and c) documentation is available as required.
• Performs physical material inventories to establish, maintain, and document the receipt, shipment and control of sample inventories.
