Job summary

Graphic Packaging International in Clarksville, TN is hiring a Material Handler for overnight shifts. You will operate PIVs, receive materials, and stage shipments in a fast-paced, safety-focused warehouse.

Candidates should have experience with lift trucks, clamp trucks, basic computer skills (QAD, SAP, MS Office) and a reliable work ethic. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and an 11 paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous PIV experience (fork truck, clamp truck) in a warehouse setting.
• Comfortable working 12-hour shifts with overtime as needed.
• Able to learn basic computer software including QAD, SAP and MS Office.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and maintain reliable attendance.
• Physically able to operate lift equipment and manage shipments.

Responsibilities

• Operate PIVs to push, pull, lift, stack, and move products and materials.
• Determine space requirements and stage shipments in trucks.
• Receive incoming materials, record receipt and store properly.
• Support 12-hour shift schedules, overtime, weekends and holidays as production grows.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and follow procedures.

Here’s What You Will Be Doing

• Starting a career with a strong, stable and growing company
• Operate various Personal Industrial Vehicles (PIVs), such as lift trucks and clamp trucks to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, stage and move products, equipment, or materials.
• Determine space requirements and position of shipment in trucks and lay out position of shipments (stage loads).
• Receive incoming materials, record receipt, and store in appropriate locations.
• Working 12-hour shifts in a safe & clean environment. Candidates must be willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays, as necessary. Shift schedules may vary as production continues to grow.
