About The Position

Do you have experience in Driving a Stand-up Forklift? Do you have experience in using RF Scanner? Come join the Safe Fleet Team.... This position is primarily responsible for all material handling in staging, loading, and unloading finished product. maintaining warehouse inventory, and supplying production lines with the necessary material, parts and packaging. Experience in operating a Stand-up Forklift, reach truck and other power equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Properly operate and maintain Forklift, Reach Truck
• Movement of raw and finished goods physically within the plant and associated material movement transactions in Syteline system with RF Scanner.
• Ensure product identification on all parts and/or containers.
• Supply and setup material for production.
• Counts and communicates inventory needs of material.
• Housekeeping in all material storage locations and assembly area.
• Follow all safety guidelines and wear proper personal protective equipment.
• Perform a variety of tasks with little to no supervision.
• Attend pre-Shift Meeting (safety, quality, material issues, other)
• Communicate, monitor, enforce, and report issues related to safety regulations and company policies
• Complete forklift inspection and fill out forklift safety logs
• Walks all areas during the day and before the end of shift to ensure housekeeping/5S forms are complete
• Fill out any other required post shift paperwork
• Communicates hot parts or inventory discrepancies
• Communicates equipment safety concerns/issues

Salary: $19.00 per hour

Schedule: Morning -8am - 4:30pm

COMPETENCIES

• Able to work overtime and weekends.
• Intermediate computer skills.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 1 -2 years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 1 - 2 years forklift experience. Stand-up
• RF Scanner experience

EDUCATION

High school education or equivalent.
