Job summary

Amcor Evansville is seeking a Production Operator to support safety, quality, and continuous production. You will monitor material flow, adjust conveying equipment, count inventories, load trailers, and operate a forklift or electric pallet jack as needed, while following EVV policies.

You will ensure accurate labeling, scanning, and material tracking in the JDE system, collaborate with maintenance and other groups to troubleshoot issues, and perform daily tasks across multiple stations.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift and handling materials safely.
• Ability to monitor and adjust material conveying equipment.
• Accurate labeling and scanning of materials.
• Commitment to EVV rolling stock policy.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and adjust material conveying equipment and notify leadership of changes.
• Monitor material inventories, perform counts, and order material when necessary.
• Perform daily tasks: materials section, trailer loading/unloading, resin washer, blend station, and/or scrap grinder.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues with support groups.
• Use JDE system/truck mounted scanners for material tracking.
• Operate a forklift or electric pallet jack safely.
• Complete material/color changes efficiently and accurately.
