ZIEHL-ABEGG is seeking a Material Handler to support production in Winston-Salem. You will operate forklifts, move materials, verify part numbers, and help maintain inventory accuracy per production schedule.

The role requires forklift experience, warehousing background, and willingness to train on additional equipment. OSHA compliance and basic metric system knowledge are expected; strong time management and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift.
• Warehousing experience.
• Inventory management software is a plus.
• OSHA compliant or trained.
• Willingness to train on other machinery (e.g., turrets).
• Time management and clear communication; familiar with metric system; ability to use hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move materials to production lines.
• Collect and deliver materials per production schedule.
• Verify quantities and part numbers against pick lists.
• Maintain in-process inventory accuracy.
• Document material movements and locations; partner with production for smooth processes.
• Inspect and maintain material-handling equipment; keep area clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
