Job summary

PTMW Inc in Topeka, KS is seeking a reliable Material Handler to move materials safely and efficiently within the facility. This role supports production by transporting materials, loading/unloading, maintaining organized storage, and ensuring inventory accuracy while operating forklifts and other handling equipment.

Ideal candidates have forklift operation experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• Forklift operation experience required.
• Current valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Excellent communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Self-motivated, conscientious worker.
• Able to work flexible hours, including some Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles.
• Maintain storage area in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Assure accuracy of inventory.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
• Clean and maintain equipment and work area.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures.
• Assist in other production areas as needed.
