Job summary

Banknote Corp of America is seeking Material Handlers for 1st and 2nd shift to support operations and quality control. You will load/unload material with a sit-down forklift, move WIP, and manage inventory using Seradex ERP.

Responsibilities include handling waste, documenting movements, and ensuring safet y adherence. Candidates must have the required forklift experience, a clean driving record, and the stamina for long shifts and physical work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Clean driving record.
• Must have computer experience.
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience operating sit-down, counter-balanced forklift, clamp truck and stand-up reach truck.
• Good visual acuity and colour vision.
• Ability to drive, walk, stand or bend for 10-12 hours.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work on any shift (day or night and 8, 10 or 12-hour shifts).
• Must be able to adhere to stringent security and safet(y) procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklift to load/unload material, provide material to presses and move finished product and WIP.
• Transport waste hoppers and destroy rejected product per procedures.
• Move material using pallet jacks and other manual handling equipment.
• Maintain inventory using barcode scanner and Seradex ERP to receive/transfer material.
• Document material movement, destruction, and other paperwork.
• Use Intelex QMS to document defective material and non-conformances.
• Inspect forklift daily and report defects to supervisor.
• Maintain solvents and press chemicals inventory in the chemical shed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
