Dessert Holdings in Humble, TX is seeking a reliable Material Handler to ensure smooth material flow and accurate inventory in our food production facility. This role requires forklift experience and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

You will move materials, support loading/unloading, maintain records in our ERP, and collaborate with production and quality teams. Weekend or evening shifts may be required to meet production needs.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus.
• Previous material handler experience in food manufacturing is preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain soon after hire.
• Attention to detail and accurate inventory recording.
• Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.

Responsabilidades

• Move raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and finished products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and carts.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and proper labeling/storage to prevent discrepancies.
• Assist with loading/unloading trucks and securing products during transport.
• Perform visual inspections of materials and products and report issues.
• Keep storage areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety protocols.
• Document material movements and data in the ERP system.
• Collaborate with production, QA, and logistics to match supply with schedules.
• Follow PPE guidelines and safety procedures to prevent injuries.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in handling procedures.
