Job summary

Vishay Dale Electronics – Columbus, NE is seeking a Material Handler - Utility on 1st Shift to support shipping, receiving and material movement. You will perform cycle counts, operate a forklift, and maintain a clean, organized warehouse.

Rigorous attention to detail, ability to lift, and willingness to learn RF scanning are essential. This role offers overtime opportunities and a path to broader material handling responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift certification or willingness to train.
• 1–2 years experience preferred.
• Ability to learn cycle counting and discrepancy investigation.
• RF scan gun usage required.
• Ability to lift moderate to heavy items.

Responsibilities

• Check inventory via cycle counts.
• Build and perform cycle counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Bin to bin materials to correct locations.
• Performing reverse consumptions.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse.
• Lift heavy items and operate a forklift.
• Unpack and check goods received against PO/invoices; maintain records.
• Run the Local Shuttle (backup).
