Job summary

BlueScope Coated Products in Marietta, GA is recruiting Material Handlers to help move and load finished coils, prepare materials for packaging, and support operations across multiple work areas. You will operate a forklift, assist with crane movement, and ensure accurate identification and safe handling of products throughout the plant, while following all safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Forklift and crane experience preferred.
• Ability to pass background check and drug test, and to work up to 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate exit recoiler controls, packaging line, forklift, and crane as needed.
• Verify finished goods identification and move to storage areas.
• Prepare materials for packaging and shipping; assist with shipping/receiving of raw materials.
• Provide flexible plant support and assist Maintenance, Operations, and Quality Control as priorities shift.
• Perform routine visual inspections for quality concerns and report non-conformities.
