Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Material Handler for 1st Shift at our Oakleys Ct site in Richmond, VA. The role involves using a forklift or power equipment to move materials, transport items between staging and shipping areas, and complete related documentation.

You will also support internal customers and maintain organized work areas. Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma or GED, forklift certification is preferred, and warehouse experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Forklift certification is preferred.
• Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift or power equipment to move materials and store items.
• Transport items between staging, storage, and shipping areas.
• Complete shipping/receiving documentation and Kanban tasks.
• Unload trucks, verify against packing lists, and assist with deliveries.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping and coordinate material movement with planners.
