Job summary

Chicago Tube and Iron Company, a leader in metals distribution and fabrication, is seeking a Material Handler in Locust, NC. You will operate forklift, side loader, and overhead crane to move material, load/unload trucks, and assist with inventory control.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.
• Minimum of two years of experience in an industrial warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Operates forklift, Hubtex side loader, and overhead crane to move material in warehouse.
• Loads and unloads trucks using handling equipment and places materials in storage locations.
• May operate saw or other equipment to process, package, and load.
• May receive/inspect and verify material count.
• May assist with inventory control as needed.
