Job summary

Bridor Vineland is seeking a dependable Material Handler to support production by receiving, storing, preparing, and delivering raw materials and packaging supplies. You will maintain accurate inventory, rotate stock per FIFO, and document transactions in SAP while adhering to GMPs and food-safety standards.

The role requires forklift operation experience, a valid certification, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced plant environment. Training and safety are emphasized at Bridor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience safely operating a reach forklift.
• Valid forklift operator certification or the ability to obtain certification.
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, rider forklifts, and scissor lifts.
• Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and BRC food safety standards.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English and accurately record information from labels and devices.
• Attention to detail and commitment to product quality and food safety.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate with team members and management.
• Willingness to learn and continuously improve work practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver raw materials and packaging supplies according to production shop orders.
• Make sure the correct materials and quantities are available to support production.
• Receive, inspect, label, and document incoming raw materials using Bridor’s paperless receiving system.
• Store and rotate inventory according to FIFO procedures.
• Maintain the quality and condition of dry and refrigerated ingredients.
• Follow proper storage and labeling procedures for allergen and non-allergen materials.
• Label, count, and document materials returned from production.
• Complete inventory transactions in SAP, including receipts and stock movements.
• Participate in month-end and year-end inventory audits.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work and storage areas.
• Follow Bridor’s safety policies, GMPs, hygiene requirements, and food safety procedures, and report deviations.
• Participate in required training and help train new team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
