Job summary

ABCorp is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Material Handler to support the efficient flow of materials throughout our warehouse and production areas. This role is responsible for receiving, moving, staging, and organizing materials so that production and shipping have what they need, where they need it, when they need it.

Qualifications

• Experience handling, storing, and moving materials or supplies.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment.
• Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing).
• Basic computer skills with the ability to access information and enter data accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to follow established procedures.
• Clear communication with team members, supervisors, and other departments.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues related to damaged goods, missing items, or discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Receiving & Verification: Unload incoming deliveries and verify quantities and condition of goods against paperwork.
• Material Movement & Staging: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move materials across the warehouse, docks, and production areas.
• Inventory & Organization: Put away and store materials in designated locations; organize inventory and support cycle counts.
• Documentation & System Transactions: Maintain accurate material movement and inventory transactions in the ERP system; review documents for accuracy.
• Safety, Quality & Security: Follow all site safety, quality, and security requirements; handle customer product and sensitive materials.
