Responsibilities

1. Exemplifies the Berry Behaviors and Values at all times. Leads by example and exhibits professionalism in all areas when representing Berry inside and outside of the plant
2. Adhere to all safety rules of Berry Global and the Logistics team
3. Ensure that the Automated Stretch Wrappers remain working efficiently and in proper working capacity
4. Continuously monitor and maintain system dunnage levels (slip sheets, wrapper film, empty pallets, etc.)
5. Finish production room processes by wrapping finish goods (if applicable), and performing a Script 41 - Move on product coming directly off the wrapper and proceeding to scan goods to storage location
6. Understand and abide by all set standards and guidelines within the Warehouse Department
7. Load / unload and troubleshoot logistics equipment (Wrappers / Dock Locks / Garage Doors / Battery Charging Stations)
8. Understands and will adhere to all ISO & SQF guidelines and policies
9. Take and score highly on all yearly HR required MyDevelopment courses
10. Take and score highly on all GDC Training course deemed necessary by Safety
11. Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area
12. Responsible for placing product in designated rows in warehouse neatly and evenly
13. Supply production area with needed raw materials
14. Ensure labeling and packaging are correct prior to moving product into warehouse by understanding how to read a traveler
15. Communicate with warehouse and production leadership daily
16. Responsible for loading trucks to customer specifications; verify quantity, product, labeling and packaging is correct
17. General housekeeping of warehouse and dock areas
18. Ensure all trailers are properly inspected and corresponding documentation is filled out properly prior to loading
19. Use problem-solving skills to handle situations that may arise
20. Any other tasks or projects as assigned

Qualifications

1. High School Diploma or GED equivalent
2. Proven ability to lead and understand all customers for each product line
3. Strong organizational skills and proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
4. Able to work independently in a potentially isolated area of the building
5. Excellent attendance record
6. Excellent reading comprehension
7. Competency in simple math
8. Proven competency in written and verbal communication
9. Ability to problem solve and execute solutions
10. Ability to effectively use a computer
