Job summary

KOHLS is seeking a Material Handler in Ohio to prepare, process and move merchandise safely and efficiently according to established standards. You will be cross-trained in multiple departments to support store operations.

Key duties include receiving and processing merchandise, packing and shipping orders, handling returns, and data entry for reports while maintaining a safe workplace by following OSHA rules. A flexible schedule and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English sufficient to understand and follow rules, training, and instructions necessary for operational safety and efficiency.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members to achieve production targets.
• Capable of multitasking across different functions and departments as needed.
• Willingness to cross-train in at least two departments to support operations.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process merchandise, including picking, packing, preparing, shipping orders and returns and loading and unloading trailers.
• Input data to prepare reports.
• Provide high-quality internal and external customer service, including communicating with vendors, associates and locations to resolve disputes and review compliance.
• Promote a safe work environment by following all safety rules and reporting violations.
• Comply with all company policies and maintain productivity standards.
• Maintain attendance and dress code compliance.
• Maintain a flexible schedule and work overtime as needed.
