Job summary

KOHLS is looking for a Material Handler to prepare, process, and move merchandise safely and efficiently. You will be cross-trained across departments to support operations and meet production rates and standards.

Responsibilities include receiving, packing, shipping, data entry, and helping vendors and locations resolve issues while maintaining safety and compliance. A flexible schedule and overtime are required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English sufficient to understand and follow rules, training, and instructions for safety and efficiency.
• Effective collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Adept at multi-tasking across multiple functions.
• Willingness to cross-train in at least two departments.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process merchandise, including picking, packing, preparing, shipping orders and returns and loading/unloading trailers.
• Input data to prepare reports.
• Provide high-quality internal and external customer service, including communicating with vendors, associates and locations.
• Promote a safe work environment by following all safety rules and reporting violations.
• Comply with all company policies and guidelines, ensuring accuracy and productivity.
• Maintain regular attendance and adhere to dress code requirements.
• Be flexible with shifts and overtime as required by business needs.
