Wood-Mizer is seeking a Material Handler for the first shift in Batesville, IN. This role supports production operations, operating forklifts and cranes, and handling steel inbound/outbound with the ability to lift 50 pounds.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, basic computer experience, and strong organizational and communication skills, with a safety-conscious approach. This is a full-time 1st shift position.

Summary of the Role

Responsible for handling materials and supporting production operations.

Essential Functions

• Operate forklift and crane safely.
• Keep parts well organized on a daily basis for manufacturing departments.
• Using current stock system, locate and distribute parts in the proper locations.
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times.
• Assist in production as needed.
• Unload and receive steel.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds waist high.
