Job summary

ITW is seeking a dedicated team member in our manufacturing environment. The role involves filling and moving materials, operating forklifts, and assisting with mold setups and changeovers.

You will maintain organized work areas, manage FIFO flows, document lots, and ensure accurate inventory using ERP. Candidates should have a HS diploma, 1–3 years in manufacturing, and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 to 3 years of job-related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate verbally with good organizational skills required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read and write English
• Attention to detail, organization, and strong multitasking abilities
• Must have basic computer skills
• Motivated to grow and develop skills for advancement
• Basic knowledge of machine operation and plastic injection molding would be a plus
• Basic math skills required to accurately count and record part production.
• Prior Material Handler experience, with use of Forklift and/Hand Jacks is preferred
• Good manufacturing practices

Responsibilities

• Fill and empty machines and transport finished product within molding/automation area.
• Assist set-up technician with mold set-ups and automation changeovers.
• Maintain a neat, organized workstation and ensure FIFO material flow.
• Make material/color changes promptly and keep the area clean.
• Ensure materials flow to avoid production stoppage.
• Document lot control where required and use ERP for inventory.
• Move, wrap and label finished product as directed.
• Report raw material inventory to materials team weekly.
• Follow all safety guidelines and ensure accuracy of materials in inventory.
• Perform problem-solving for material vacuum/drying system issues.
