Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler in California to support operations by moving material and inventory throughout the facility. The role uses hand trucks, conveyors, and other equipment, and may involve packing, scanning, kitting, and counting products.

The candidate should have at least 1 year in a warehouse environment, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and be willing to work a flexible schedule with possible overtime. Benefits include health coverage and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic with or without a calculator.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Move material and inventory throughout the facility to support operations.
• Use hand trucks, conveyors or other material handling equipment.
• Perform packing, scanning, kitting or counting of products as needed.
• Verify orders, label products and operate a handheld scanner.
• Follow the 7S program and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Work in a safe manner protecting yourself and teammates.
