Job summary

Flowserve Corporation in Charlotte, NC seeks a Material Handler to support shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse operations. You will ensure materials flow accurately, safely, and on time to production and customer commitments.

This role involves operating forklifts, recording ERP transactions, verifying packing slips, and maintaining organized records while upholding safety procedures in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Overtime may be required based on workload.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• US citizenship required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical duties (standing, walking, bending, kneeling, twisting).
• Basic computer skills including MS Office and data entry systems.
• Attention to detail, good communication, and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Overtime may be required (evenings/weekends) based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, and process incoming shipments to ensure PO compliance.
• Verify packing slips, bills of lading, and shipment contents; resolve discrepancies.
• Record material receipts and inventory transactions in the ERP system.
• Prepare and verify outbound shipments for safe delivery.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records; support document retention.
• Follow warehouse safety, processes, and housekeeping standards.
• Support inventory storage, replenishment, and cross-functional warehouse operations.
