Job summary

Impact Housing is seeking a dependable Material Handler I to support manufacturing operations, receiving, storing, transporting, and replenishing materials to ensure uninterrupted production. The role safely operates forklifts, maintains inventory accuracy, and supports warehouse organization while following safety and quality standards.

This is ideal for someone with warehouse or manufacturing experience who wants growth in a fast-paced environment; NetSuite experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of warehouse and/or material handling experience.
• Minimum 1 year of sit-down forklift experience required.
• Experience with WMS/ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and shipping documents.
• Safely transport raw materials, supplies, and finished products using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Store materials in designated locations and maintain inventory records.
• Perform inventory transactions in the ERP system (NetSuite preferred).
• Replenish production materials to support schedules.
• Return unused materials to inventory and maintain traceability.
• Maintain FIFO inventory practices.
• Assist with cycle counts and accuracy initiatives.
• Prepare receiving, shipping, and inventory documentation.
• Review shipments for quality, quantity, and accuracy; report discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse and adhere to 5S standards.
• Communicate with internal departments to support production needs.
