Job summary

Symmons Industries, Inc. is hiring a Material Handler to ensure smooth material flow from the offsite warehouse to the factory floor. You will support inventory accuracy and coordinate with managers to resolve discrepancies while handling cycle counts and material replenishment.

The role requires 1–3 years in manufacturing, basic math/English testing, and a willingness to become forklift certified. Proficiency with JDE and MS Office is a plus, with on-site work at our Braintree facility in

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to operate power equipment (forklifts, turret machine, order picker and electric pallet jacks).
• Ability to follow verbal and written work instructions.
• Must pass Basic Math and English tests provided.
• Willing to become forklift certified.
• Knowledge of JDE, material transactions and Kanban is a plus.
• MS Office knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Order and manage material flow from offsite warehouse to manufacturing/assembly areas with real-time transactions.
• Store delivered materials in proper inventory locations.
• Assist Warehouse Manager and Value Stream Managers in resolving inventory discrepancies on the floor.
• Perform cycle counts as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Value Stream Manager.
