Job summary

Acushnet Company in Carlsbad, California is seeking a Material Handler to support our golf club manufacturing operations. This hands-on warehouse role involves receiving, storing, picking, staging, and delivering materials to production, using scanners and various warehouse equipment.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, at least 6 months of warehouse or inventory experience, basic computer skills, ability to lift up to 35 pounds, and willingness to work overtime including

Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Minimum 6 months warehouse/material handling experience; 1 year preferred.
Basic computer skills and experience using scanners or inventory systems.
Ability to receive, store, pick, and distribute materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.

Responsibilities

Receive inbound shipments and verify shipping/receiving documents.
Store, pick, and stage materials for production.
Fulfils material requests and conducts inventory transactions using scanning equipment.
Perform cycle counts and support inventory accuracy initiatives.
Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, scanners, carts, dock equipment) and maintain a safe workspace.
