Job summary

American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. (AEO) is hiring a full-time Material Handler to support our Hazleton Distribution Center. If you enjoy a fast-paced, physical role, you’ll unload, load, warehouse, and stage merchandise with a strong emphasis on safety and accuracy.

You’ll work across multiple departments with shifts including Daylight, Evening, and Weekend options. AEO offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits in a modern, onsite facility designed for safety and success.

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Adaptable to change and able to work in different departments.
Strong attendance and work record.
Must be 18 or older.
Ability to operate manual and automated pallet jack equipment.
Willingness to work across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

Ensure a safe work environment by keeping safety a top priority.
Sort, warehouse, stage, and load or unload cartons accurately, safely, and efficiently.
Unload inbound freight and load outbound freight.
Stage outbound freight in shipping.
Receive and warehouse incoming merchandise into module racks and floor locations.
Pull merchandise from racks or move merchandise to open areas for pulling and distribution in the replenishment department.
Replenish and condense merchandise into the most effective locations for order pulling in the replenishment department.
Operate manual and mechanical equipment safely and maintain proper certifications.
Ensure production and quality standards are met.
Perform other duties as assigned.
