Job summary

WeatherTech® in Bolingbrook, Illinois is seeking an Extrusion Material Handler for the 3rd shift, with hours from 11pm to 7:30am, M-F. The position pays $19.00 per hour with an additional $1.50 for the shift differential.

Candidates should have at least one year of manufacturing or warehouse experience, be reliable and teamwork oriented, and possess basic math and computer skills. Excellent medical benefits are provided along with a 401(k) plan.

Extrusion Material Handler – 3rd Shift

WeatherTech Direct is seeking well‑qualified Extrusion Material Handlers to help prepare material for use in the extrusion process. This is a 3rd shift position with the hours of 11pm – 7:30am, M-F.

• Base rate of pay starting at $19.00 per hour.
• Additional compensation: $1.50 per hour 3rd shift differential.

As an Extrusion Material Handler, you will

• Load scrap material into grinding machines, operate grinding machines, and use a pallet jack to move pallets containing gaylords of material.
• Operate powered industrial vehicles and pallet jacks to load/unload and transport materials, supplies, components, and finished products between storage and work areas when needed.
• Operate vacuum hose to remove material from gaylords, and use a shovel to move the material toward the vacuum hose.
• Prepare pallets for material stacking, band and wrap pallets of finished material.
• Aid the Extrusion Operators as needed.
• Comply with all safety guidelines and company procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualified Candidates will

• Have a minimum of 1 year of previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
• Be a team player with a good attitude and strong work ethic.
• Be dependable, with excellent attendance.
• Be able to read a tape measure and have basic math skills.
• Have basic computer skills.
• Have the ability to work/learn at a fast pace while maintaining the highest quality work standards.
• Be able to stand on feet for 8 hours.
• Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Be available to work overtime and weekends as required.
• Be fluent in English and be authorized to work in the United States.
