Job summary

McKesson Corporation is hiring a Material Handler Specialist for our Distribution Center in Clear Brook, VA. The role runs Monday to Friday, 11am to 7:30pm, with potential overtime as needed.

The position is full-time and benefit-eligible, focusing on efficient movement of materials, receiving, storage, picking, and shipping to maintain smooth operations. Candidates should have 3+ years of warehouse experience, be familiar with forklift-type equipment, and hold or be able to certify on Reach

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Experience operating Reach Truck and other material handling equipment.
• Must be able to maintain certifications and operate material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive materials, verify quantities against POs, and inspect for damage or discrepancies.
• Unload/load trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Store materials with proper labeling, rotation, and accessibility.
• Pick and stage orders according to pick lists and ensure correct quantities.
• Prepare materials for shipment with packing, labeling, and shrink-wrapping.
• Operate and maintain material handling equipment; perform pre-shift inspections.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation as needed.
• Communicate material flow and issues with team and other departments.
• Adhere to company policies and safety guidelines.
