Job description

Material Handler & Equipment Maintenance Technician

Must be able to perform repairs and preventative maintenance on various types of powered and non-powered material handling equipment. Work will be performed both indoors and outdoors. Experience with hand and power tools and a strong mechanical aptitude are required. Forklift experience is helpful.

The role involves maintaining production and distribution by:

1. Pulling orders from inventory
2. Delivering production materials and supplies
3. Staging finished products for shipping

Additional duties may include:

1. Maintaining inventory by labeling and placing materials in stock and recording locations
2. Locating materials as per production orders
3. Delivering and opening materials at work centers
4. Documenting materials and supplies disposition
5. Receiving credit-return materials and supplies
6. Preparing finished stock for shipment
7. Documenting shipments
8. Maintaining material-handling equipment through inspections and repairs
9. Contributing to team efforts and performing repairs and preventive maintenance on material handling equipment
10. Working at a fast pace with safety as a priority
11. Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• No minimum education requirements
