Job summary

Tri-Mack Plastics in Bristol, Rhode Island seeks a Drier Maintenance & Materials Handler (Injection Molding) to move raw and finished materials, maintain dryers and feeders, and support machine setup. You must work safely, adhere to ISO and OSHA guidelines, and keep the work area clean and organized.

The role requires the ability to lift 40 pounds and stand for long periods. The position emphasizes independent work, reliability, and collaboration with the Maintenance and Molding teams.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude with comfort using hand tools.
• Able to move molds and equipment, lift 40 pounds.
• Minimum of 2 years in an injection molding environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide raw material for each injection molding machine and record usage in Visual.
• Keep molds, hoppers, dryers and equipment clean and free of contamination and damage.
• Ensure all hoppers, dryers and material handling equipment are available and operational.
• Perform routine maintenance of hoppers and dryers (filters, heaters, etc.).
• Read and interpret work orders to determine material type and quantity needed.
• Perform incoming material inspections and coordinate with IMP Engineers on inspection plans.
• Return material to stockroom and log it in Visual.
• Assist in setup and maintenance of machines as required.
• Handle material setup for preform machines and operate molding equipment as needed.
• Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies and support Maintenance Department.
