Job summary

Tri-Mack Plastics, located in Bristol, Rhode Island, seeks a Drier Maintenance & Materials Handler for Injection Molding. You will move raw and finished materials between workstations and ensure material dryers, loaders, and handling equipment are clean, operational and ready for use.

The role includes assisting in machine setup and maintenance and maintaining a safe, ISO/OSHA-compliant workspace. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, at least 2 years in injection molding, strong

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude; comfortable with hand tools.
• Working knowledge of standard OSHA regulations.
• Physical ability to move molds and other equipment; lift 40 pounds; stand for long periods.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an injection molding environment.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• General math knowledge; ability to calculate geometric problems.
• Ability to use and understand measuring tools.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide raw material for each injection molding machine; record usage.
• Keep materials and equipment clean and free of contamination and damage.
• Ensure hoppers, dryers and material handling equipment are available and operational.
• Perform maintenance on hoppers and dryers (filters, heaters).
• Read work orders to determine material type and quantity needed.
• Conduct incoming material inspections and work with engineers on plans.
• Return material to stockroom and record in system.
• Assist in machine setup and maintenance as needed.
• Handle materials and set up Preform machines.
• Operate and run an injection molding machine as required.
• Support Maintenance Department as requested.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Adhere to ISO/OSHA/AS9100 requirements; act professionally.
• Other duties as assigned by Molding Manager.
