Job summary

THREADED FASTENERS INC in Georgia is seeking a Material Handler/Driver to efficiently process orders, ship and receive goods, and manage internal stock transfers. The role also serves as a backup driver when needed.

Responsibilities include forklift operation, order picking, packing, inspection for defects, inventory counting, and maintaining a safe work environment. This position supports timely deliveries and warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills & mathematical skills are preferred.
• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• TWIC Card Certification is required or preferred for this role.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift, two-wheel hand cart, and scales.
• Retrieve stock to fulfill orders.
• Check outgoing and incoming shipments for accuracy.
• Check orders for accuracy.
• Inspect goods for defects and report damaged materials.
• Place completed orders in designated areas.
• Monitor order movement for timely delivery.
• Pack, label, and shrink-wrap orders as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area following 6S principles.
• Load finished products onto trucks and transport stock as needed.
• Assist in counting physical inventory.
• Follow safety rules and wear PPE.
• Make customer deliveries as needed to support driver coverage.
