Job description

Reeb Millwork, an SBP Brand, is seeking a Material Handler (Door Puller) to join our VALUES-based organization. This position is based in our Mocksville, NC facility. We prioritize serving people first and operate with a moral compass focused on doing what is right, even when challenging.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Batch paperwork by aisle for supply to the steel shop (wood shop is batched by scheduler).
2. Pull doors, inserts, and lites after scanning work orders with a hand-held scanner.
3. Stage materials in the correct order to supply the shop, matching inserts on a cart to the order of doors.
4. Ensure continuous production flow by stacking materials appropriately.
5. Make inventory adjustments as needed.
6. Communicate regularly with the production scheduler, shop supervisor, and department manager to ensure ongoing production.
7. Conduct all activities safely, adhering to company safety standards.
8. Maintain quality standards by inspecting products as pulled.
9. Keep the receiving dock organized and well-maintained.
10. Strive for team efficiency in pulling items without sacrificing accuracy.
11. Operate forklift and order picker equipment.
12. Assist production personnel in removing RTV or damaged doors and replacing them with new doors.
13. Support receiving and order pullers as needed.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.
