Openwork is hiring a Material Handler / Deburr for a hands-on role in Oklahoma City, OK. You will grind, deburr, clean, and prepare sheet metal parts, while loading, unloading, and moving materials throughout the production facility.

Requirements include 1 year of material handling or related manufacturing experience, forklift and overhead crane operation, and ability to read a tape measure. The position is 1st shift, Mon–Fri, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, full-time temp-to-hire with overtime as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 1 year of material handling or related manufacturing experience.
• Hands-on overhead crane operating experience.
• Forklift operating experience.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Experience with sheet metal or industrial materials.
• Ability to load, unload, and move heavy materials.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.

Aufgaben

• Remove burrs, nicks, sharp edges, and rough surfaces from sheet metal and steel plate.
• Grind, deburr, clean, and prepare metal parts.
• Operate grinding tools to smooth surfaces and finish parts.
• Load and unload materials from manufacturing machines.
• Operate overhead cranes to move heavy materials.
• Use forklifts to transport and stage materials.
• Measure materials and parts with a tape measure.
• Inspect finished parts for quality and defects.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Follow safety procedures.
