Job summary

IFF is a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients and health & biosciences. We have a great opportunity in USA where you will control or operate machinery or equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and other steps along a production line.

As a Material Handler (Receiving Operator) you will complete all assigned work including picking stock in a safe accountable manner and ensures associated stock accuracy where applicable during the shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and move materials (frequently up to 50 lbs / 23 kg).
• Experience with forklifts or material-handling equipment (may require certification).
• Basic computer and inventory-tracking skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities.
• Sampling of raw materials and unloading trailers
• Work picking and weighing out materials
• Load and unload trucks.
• Move materials to storage or production areas.
• Pick and stage materials for production or shipping.
• Operate equipment such as: Forklift, Pallet jacks or Hand truck
• Maintain inventory accuracy and perform cycle counts.
• Use warehouse management systems (WMS) or scanners to track inventory.
