Day Shift: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

The Material Handler position involves operating forklifts, cranes, and other mechanical material handling equipment. Additional duties may include crate and production assembly.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide customer-responsive and efficient manufacturing support activities
• Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, and timely, without damage; assist co-workers and customers
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools, and equipment
• Assist with inventory management activities, including daily updates to the ERP system
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
• Maintain a steady flow of materials and resources to production workstations
• Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas
• Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• At least one year of related work experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to become certified to operate a forklift and overhead crane
• Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment
• Experience with side forklift, bander, nail gun, overhead crane, saws, stretch wrap machine, and pneumatic equipment is preferred but not required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continuously above shoulder height and below waist
• Good attitude and team-oriented mindset

This position may require overtime. Shifts vary between 8, 10, and 12 hours depending on work orders and seasonality.
