URGENTLY HIRING FOR DAY & NIGHT SHIFT

MATERIAL HANDLERS

IN SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH

As a Material Handler, you are responsible for ensuring the required materials for each line are drawn from appropriate locations and set up, monitored, and made available throughout the production period or shift.

HOURS: DAYS: 6:45AM-7PM OR NIGHTS: 6:45PM-7AM ON A 2-2-3 SCHEDULE

Shift Schedule Breakdown

  1. WORK MON/TUE, OFF WED/THUR, WORK FRI/SAT/SUN
  2. OFF MON/TUE, WORK WED/THUR, OFF FRI/SAT/SUN, REPEAT
  3. Only Work 15 days a month!
  4. Every Other Weekend is a 3 DAY WEEKEND!
  5. One week you work 48 hours and the next week you work 36 hours
  6. Total of 84 hours for a pay period (76 regular hours & 8 hours of overtime) Paid Bi-Weekly

PAY: $21.00/HR (+ $1/HR SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL FOR NIGHT SHIFT)

SIGN-ON BONUS OFFERED! $500 after 90 days, $1,000 after 180 days totaling $1,500.00

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Operate forklift to load and unload shipments.
  • Accurately report inventory receipts.
  • Provide documentation for shipping/receiving.
  • Inspect shipments for damage.
  • Coordinate with carriers for proper loading.
  • Assist with cycle counts.
  • Understand material requirements for production.
  • Coordinate material staging with production.
  • Notify supervisors of any issues.
  • Handle raw materials and finished goods.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all safety requirements and wear PPE at all times.
  • Complete inventory paperwork accurately.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Educational and Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read and write English fluently; Bilingual is a PLUS!
  • Forklift experience REQUIRED.
  • 2-3 years experience in manufacturing/warehouse/shipping.
  • Ability to perform basic matching.
  • Effective communication skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Lift over 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to lift overhead.
  • Spend 12 hours on foot around machinery.
  • Move, bend, push, and pull objects.

Working Conditions

  • Manufacturing environment with hazards.
  • Work inside and outside.
  • Exposure to moving equipment.
  • 12-hour shifts on your feet.
