Job summary

Kohl's in Town of Wawarsing, NY seeks a Material Handler to prepare, process, and move merchandise safely and efficiently. You will be cross-trained to support multiple departments and ensure accurate production rates and guidelines are met.

You will receive and process orders, handle shipping and returns, and provide high-quality service to vendors and store locations while maintaining safety standards and attendance per policy.

Qualifications

• Must be able to understand and follow safety rules and instructions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Able to multitask across departments and processes.
• Willing to cross-train in at least two departments.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process merchandise, including picking, packing, preparing, shipping orders and returns and loading and unloading trailers.
• Input data to prepare reports.
• Provide high-quality internal and external customer service with vendors, associates and locations.
• Follow safety rules and report potential violations to supervisors.
• Adhere to company policies, standards and productivity guidelines.
• Maintain attendance and dress code per company policy.
• Be flexible with shifts and overtime as required by business needs.
