Job summary

JMS Russel Metals Corp seeks a Material Handler at our Charlotte, NC facility to ensure safe, accurate handling of metal products. You will perform daily pre-shift crane inspections, locate material per work orders, verify order requirements, and assist with shipping/receiving inspections to uphold quality standards.

You will work with burners and other team members to move finished parts, maintain clean work areas, and follow ISO and internal procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in metal handling and quality checks.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and safety protocols.
• Ability to read work orders and ensure correct material matching.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre-shift crane inspections.
• Locate material as allocated on work orders.
• Verify material meets order requirements.
• Load and unload using overhead crane.
• Support shipping and receiving inspections.
• Maintain safe, clean work areas and proper PPE.
