Job summary

Indium Corporation in Clinton, NY is seeking a Material Handler to move and record material across the facility, operating equipment and ensuring accurate material flow.

You will receive materials, perform inspections, and document movements in ERP, while supporting shipping and receiving, cycle counts and inventory accuracy.

Monday–Friday, 1st Shift at 34 Robinson Road, Clinton, NY. This role offers hands-on logistics work within a safe, efficient operation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Computer experience.
• Experience using Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment including pallet jack and forklift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Provide own transportation for local travel between Indium facilities.

JOB SUMMARY

The Material Handler is responsible for moving and recording the movement of material throughout a facility.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (COMPETENCIES)

• Operate material handling equipment as required to receive, store or deliver material
• Receive materials according to established procedures
• Perform incoming inspection of material
• Document movement of materials within ERP system
• Transport materials from storage to designated areas
• Perform cycle counts and physical inventory
• Stock supplies
• Provide support to other Shipping and Receiving department functions as directed
• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or GED
• Computer experience
• Experience using Microsoft Office products
• Ability to operate material handling equipment including pallet jack and forklift
• Ability to frequently walk and/or stand
• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs
• Provide own source of transportation for any local/day travel, including travel between Indium Corporation facilities

The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the range for the position. The actual range will vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position's qualifications, and internal equity.

$17.00 per hour - $23.00 per hour ($35,000 - $47,500 annually)
