Job summary

Indium Corporation is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist in Clinton, NY for a role Monday-Friday, 1st shift (7:00 am-3:30 pm). You will create and maintain part numbers, manage BOMs, and ensure accurate inventory transactions for WIP and finished goods.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, basic math skills, and competence with MS Office and an MRP system. Attention to detail and a commitment to safety are essential.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for performing a variety of duties involving maintaining inventory accuracy.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (COMPETENCIES)

• Create and maintain part numbers and Bill of Materials
• Ensure that all inventory transactions are complete for work-in-process and finished goods materials
• Perform cycle counts
• Complete all documentation as required
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all transactions
• Assist with annual physical inventory as instructed
• Follow established quality guidelines
• Keep inventory stock of shipping materials
• Ensure that all products are labeled correctly
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Attend training as needed or assigned
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Basic math skills
• Detailed-oriented
• Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions
• Computer skills, including working knowledge of MRP system and MS Office
• Ability to develop an understanding of Indium Corporation products and services

The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the range for the position. The actual range will vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, prior experience, knowledge, skill, and education as they relate to the position’s qualifications, and internal equity.

$17.00 per hour - $23.75 per hour

($35,000 - $49,000 annually)
