Dorman Products in Warsaw, KY is seeking a Material Handler Class I - Receiving for the 1st shift. You will operate sit-down forklifts, stock pickers, and RF scanners to move material, while adhering to safety guidelines and recording accurate logs.

Primary Duties

• Operate motorized industrial equipment such as sit-down fork truck, stock picker and reach truck
• Perform daily checks of equipment prior to operating equipment
• Operate within standard operating procedures
• Use hand-held or truck mounted radio frequency (RF) scanners
• Adhere to all safety standards and personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines
• Maintain accurate logs or other required documentation depending on the job task being performed
• Follow work order instructions to perform assignments throughout the facilityFollow documented procedures with accuracy
• Other duties as assigned

• Physical Requirement: Capability to lift 45 pounds.
• Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach, swivel, carry items from one building to another, and speak and actively listen. Noise level is usually moderate.

Education / Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge and skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay equity. Compensation decisions are made based on the specific facts and circumstances of each role and candidate.
