Job summary

The Wasserstrom Company is seeking a Material Handler/ Cherry Picker Operator for our Bethlehem, PA distribution center. This full-time, on-site role involves loading/unloading shipments, picking and putting away product, and using RF scanners to verify items and locations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and forklift experience is welcome but not required. First shift 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with Saturdays as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• 1-2 years forklift experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipments from trucks to shipping/receiving area.
• Pick/put-away/count product from/to racking by case or pallet quantities.
• Verify item, quantity, and location using RF scanner and pick labels.
• Operate motorized equipment in a safe and proper manner.
